Meet Dr. Bembey Dr. Bembey was born and raised in India, where she completed her bachelor’s in dental sciences and practiced as a general dentist for three years. On her arrival in the United States, she assisted in the Salivary diagnostic research at UCLA School of dentistry where she also completed her dental training and received multiple awards, including Clinical Excellence in the field of Periodontics and Excellence in Comprehensive dental care. She continued her education and went on to finish specialty training in Periodontics and Dental Implants at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she received a certificate in Periodontics in addition to a Master in Science in Dentistry. Dr. Bembey is proficiently trained in all aspects of dentistry including non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy. She is extensively trained in procedures of periodontal bone regeneration, and soft and hard tissue grafting, including sinus grafting and placement of dental implants. She is very enthusiastic and committed to comprehensive dental treatment and care tailored to each patient. She focuses on patients’ overall health and empowers them to elevate their oral health through education and optimal periodontal care. Dr. Bembey strives to provide her patients with the best treatment options available and believes in working as a team with the restorative dentist. Dr. Bembey has strong aspirations to grow and develop in the fields of dentistry and periodontics. She is a member of many dental and periodontal organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, and the California Society of Periodontists. Growing up in an Indian Army family, Dr. Bembey traveled a lot during her childhood. She was bitten by the traveling bug, and now her goal is to travel to all the New Seven Wonders of the World. She has visited three and plans to travel to the rest soon. During high school, she played several badminton tournaments at the state level in India and continues to enjoy the sport today. When she’s not practicing dentistry, she enjoys hiking, cooking food for her family and loved ones, and baking. |
